  • Always looking for wholesome experiences of working with local materials and different manufacturing techniques that would compliment the new design language. I wish to keep the social interest of my country as the underlying factor in my designs.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
  • April 2010 – April 2011: Play school furniture design for Ethos, Goa
  • July 2009 – Feb 2010: Furniture design at Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., Mumbai.
  • Product photo shoot of bamboo products for Tripura Bamboo Mission.
  • Urban renewal project at Jaleb Chowk, Jaipur: project commissioned by JMC to The Asian Heritage Foundation, New Delhi. My contribution to the project was surveying, documenting and preparation of feasibility report.
  • Photography for Nalandaway Foundation, NGO working for child welfare
   
AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
  • 2011: Winner: DesignQuest – 2, an initiative by ‘Home Review’
  • 2010: Selected amongst 10 Indian designers for IDot exhibition on Indian Design at Delhi and Milan featuring el’bo.
  • 2010: Finalist Designmile, an initiative by ‘Home Review’
  • 2008: One amongst 30 finalists at Taiwan International Design Competition ’08 for product named ‘tutu’.
  • 2007: Pride of NID
  • 2007: Edida Elle Deco Internatinal Design Award, India ’07 for the ‘Tippler’ chair in student category (registered design now)
  • 2007: Best Photograph nomination for Article-19 photography competition
